COVID-19 spreading like wildfire across Assam: 16 confirmed cases

The positive cases for COVID-19 in Assam has risen from 0 to 16 in just 48 hours. In less than 12 hours, Assam has registered 3 more positive cases taking the total to 16.

The Health minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted late last night that 3 new cases are detected in Goalpara Medical College and all of them are connected with Nizamuddin Markaz congregation.

Earlier, in a press meet at NHM, Dr. Biswa Sarma also confirmed 4 positive cases that are connected to the Nizamuddin Markaz and are currently being treated in GMCH.

The names of the 4 persons are as follows:

Md. Arsad Ali (19 years) from Nalbari,
Md. Joban Ali (46 years) from Jagiroad,
Md. Hazrat Ali (60 years) from Jagiroad and Md. Nurrudin (55 years) from Jagiroad.

During Quarantine time, a bunch of Tablighi Jamaat roams around hospital without pants and shows obscene gestures to nurses, and staff present

The people of Ghaziabad, who were involved in the Tabligi Jamaat in Hazrat Nizamuddin Markaz, south Delhi, have been kept in the isolation ward and quarantine of the district hospital, where they have been accused of obscenity with medical staff.
